Have they given a reason? It seems to be the norm these days to change dates, location etc. Don't they realise people travel from all over the world for this event? Flights, hotels, etc. I hope they have good reason, because they must be building quite a reputation, for all the wrong reasons.

Because on the original date of the Hua Hin marathon, May 14, elections will take place.

A fairly weak excuse. Yes, I can understand restrictions on alcohol, but not running - it'll all be over by 9am, when most people are just rising. I feel sorry for those who have planned holidays around the event.

Anyone on the forum joining the run?
Mrs. GN. managed to get a last-minute bib order in for us but registration was closed when I realised I will be in H.H. for the run.

I have recently joined the Hua Hin Trail Runners group for training through the LHG's crapbook account. Some real strong runners/cyclists attending that have really helped me get my pace back to where is should be.
