Next weekend we stay in Bahrain, but on a shorter and faster track. Should be interesting. Good luck to all!

Botherations!!
I messed up this week as I thought sensitive Albon would be a bit wary after his crash during pre-qualifying. But I like the young man, and hope that this has secured his place with Red Bull for next year as he certainly has talent.
Really disappointing for Perez as he has a huge amount of talent. It'd be a shame if he doesn't secure a drive for next year - but who would lose their seat for him? Hmmm...
I don't know which feeds you watch for the race, but on ours Romain Grosjean was voted driver of the day! How crazy is that? He didn't even complete one lap. If they had a 'luckiest man of the day' award, then he surely would have won it.
So, next week same place different track. I'd like to say I'm looking forward to it, but I suspect it'll be the same old same old. (Moto GP is interesting this year).

For a small fee (payable only in Bitcoins) I can torture Mr.VS to give me his thoughts for picks for the next Grand Prix (bamboo shoots?). Just send me a PM. I can then climb onto the roof and sever our fibre optic cable, and hide his phone in a place where he'll never find it (possibly in the tea towel drawer).

That has made it harder to pick a winner, could be an interesting race.

Reading that BBC article fully now it indicates he may be done for the season if he doesn't test negative in time for the final December 13 race.

I wish him well and hopefully he won't come down with a serious case.

I thought all the F1 teams were in a 'bubble'. I think it's actually good news that he won't be racing as it gives others a chance for that top step. Did I hear that George Russell may be given a drive in the super team? It'll be interesting to see what he's capable of in a very capable car.

Oops! Mr. VS and I sometimes use the same computer. He didn't send that message, I did.

BREAKING: George Russell will drive for Mercedes in place of Lewis Hamilton at this weekend's Sakhir Grand Prix. Jack Aitken steps up for Williams.

Russel seems to have a big fan base from the comments I've seen, and that he is a big talent stuck in a slow car at present. We'll see, but this race on this new "abbreviated" type track may not be the best to start on in a new car?
