Breaking News.......

A gunman seems to be on the rampage in Korat. I'm watching it on live feeds on Social Media. Reportedly, 2 confirmed dead so far, but nothing substantiated yet.

Well, I don't know what the outcome will be, but that was some of the most dramatic live feed footage I've ever seen. 3 paramedics running out into the road in view of the gunman to retrieve a victim. The driver left his phone running as he drove to hospital - the fear in his eyes as he was leaving the scene was incredible. If they give civilian medals in this country, those guys were so brave.

Listening to the footage, Mrs BB is saying 4 dead and one injured so far.

Unbelievable - the ambulance crew are on their way back to the scene again. I'd have needed clean underwear first.

BBC breaking news is saying the shooter is a soldier.

Yes, that's correct. They've got his CO there + a load of troops.

More breaking news says he killed his CO on base before going on this rampage.

Yes, I've seen that as well. I guess we need a definition of CO because Mrs BB was pointing out a guy on TV saying that's his boss. If he's at the bottom of the food chain, he has loads of bosses above him.

Reporting here in the UK 12 dead so far Thai special forces are going to storm the mall.
Daily Mirror has a video clip but I won't post it up lot's of people on this forum have family links in Issan.

Some of the footage being circulated is horrific. Both pics and video's. One of my other half's colleagues was in T21 but is safe. The gunman has even filmed and broadcast himself by a ramp of a car park, gun in hand, as cool as a cucumber. There will be more than 12 dead. Hs mother is now being taken to T21.

I don't think you need worry about the video too much - everything is on Social Media. Worst thing is, there are so many live broadcasts, any element of surprise will be lost. I've been watching feeds both outside and inside the Mall. Somebody needs to block the Internet before any op goes ahead.

Yeah, it seems the guy on the vid with a gun by the ramp might not be him, when I asked who it was, all I got was not sure. The worst I have seen is from social media, even if I don't want to see it.

Mrs BB says he has about 20 hostages. I think she said his mother is on her way to help negotiations.

Latest news..... a doctor went in to treat wounded, but is now in hospital, wounded himself.
