2 posters and no mention of a little known quartet from Liverpool?

My list is way too long to mention so here are some of my musical influences through the decades....

60's

The Beatles (cough cough Pharvey and Lindosfan)

Swinging Blue Jeans

The Hollies

The 70's

T Rex

Gary Glitter (Yes I Know!!)

Fox (Only You Can)

John Miles (Music)

Wings (Saw them in concert 1979, Liverpool)

The 80's

Bit of a wasteland for me other than

OMD (Numerous Manchester Concerts)

A Flock Of Seagulls (great haircut that Donald Trump later emulated  )

Pink Floyd ( A momentary Lapse of Reason and the Division Bell)

The 90's

The Stone Roses ( I was very stoned at Spike Island :rasta: )

Oasis

Pearl Jam

Nirvana

The 00's

Matchbox Twenty

Goo Goo Dolls

Third Eye Blind

Angels And Airwaves (Post Blink 182)

Beth Hart

Lots more but these would be top of my list.

Some of my early influences that don't feature above:

The Allman Brothers
Yes
Leonard Cohen (Yes I know, but it was only briefly during my teen angst year...)
James Taylor
BOWIE/Ziggy Stardust (Come on guys, how could he have been overlooked??)
The Clash
Sinatra (when I was old enough not to care about being cool)
Elton John
Simon & Garfunkel
The Moody Blues
Cream
Santana

DM..Good choices but I can't say that any of them influenced me in any significant way. The nudey dancer may have though, but you didn't state if it was a male or female dancer

If it was a bloke, he had great tits...

I used the word influences too casually. Now that I think about it, the biggest musical influence I've ever experienced was when a girlfriend introduced me to Baroque music when I was about 30, Albinoni, Pachelbel, etc. Come to think of it, she had great tits too!

Seen many a "Bob the builder" with great tits here

As for Classical I would have to plump for the punk rocker of his day Wolfie Mozart and the pizza pioneer Verdi :naughty:

Due to my age, my list is long and too esoteric to post. Maybe I can sum it up with a few people & catagories.

Charlie Parker and all who followed in his wake.
Early music. Pallestrina, etc. and his progenitors up through the 20th. C.
Ravi Shankar and those who came before and after.
The music of Africa, European Gypsies, & the Middle East.
Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen, Randy Newman, Joni Mitchell, John Prine, the entire pantheon of Mississippi Blues musicians.
That's enough. Alphabetical order would take the use of algorithms and I'm a analogue guy.

I also think Matt Monroe has a great voice. Sinatra rated him!,
