I wondered that as well. However, I've seen a few fishing lakes open up recently, so I'm sure they'd have helped out if required.

Okay, I am curious as I went there myself today, first time since this work started. I have politely asked my other half if she can find out what's going on.

Apparently, it's just a space that's going to be used for events, markets and the like. They did this before with one side of the front entrance, nearer the entrance road, but it was half hearted at best.

Thanks for the update. I think it could be a good move. I've often thought how inflexible the old frontage was, when compared with Market Village. I'm sure if I could see it, they could see it too.

In true Thai fashion, if it is, this will be the 3rd in a couple of months. I see there's one advertised om the top deck of Market Village Car Park as well.

My Thai wife tells me it will be like an open market area with food stalls etc plus a children's play area. Think I would have preferred a beer garden and live music options but what do I know........

Strange that Bluport are advertising it as a Skate Park and Pump Track then. Or is Bluport Square somewhere else?

Well all the covers are down, so it should be easy to check it out.

They've really gone all out on that 'pump track'. A remarkable achievement.

Is it a permanent fixture? It only appears to be a part of the area they have been working on.
