In anticipation, we travelled home via the Klong road, because Phetkasem road was gridlocked with his entourage!!

This chaos was created by superstition and religious fanaticism. Thousands lined up to give money, food, water to a monk walking from Phuket to Korat. I got through by motorbike, as I wanted to have a drink at Soi 80 people blocked the entrance and I had to be loud and security opened the way for me.

It seems he would not accept money. Only water.

Phetkasem Road between say Bluport & MV is heaving!

I'd say there's between 50-100% 'more' traffic on the road than normal, and I see the traffic along this section every day at various times.

I didn't really study Southbound but Northbound is way, way busier than normal for this time of day

So.... What's going on?

I'd say there's between 50-100% 'more' traffic on the road than normal, and I see the traffic along this section every day at various times.

I didn't really study Southbound but Northbound is way, way busier than normal for this time of day

So.... What's going on?

Any thoughts?

Yes, we are happy that normal life is coming back. Traffic, tourists, YES and always same anglo saxon farangs complaining for everything.
