Blustery conditions are due to arrive on Friday as the storm, named by the Met Eireann, the Irish Meteorological Service, rolls in.

Gusts of 50mph are “expected quite widely” on Saturday, while some exposed areas, particularly on the coast, will have 60 to 70mph gusts with large waves also likely, the Met Office said.

And this extract from the Independent

The Met Office has warned parts of the UK to brace for snow, days before Britons bask in temperatures hotter than Spain at the weekend.

Temperatures will soar to 20C in parts of the country on Saturday, including in Norwich, Cambridge, Hull and London, while Madrid is forecast to be 17C.

The Met Office said there will be outbreaks of rain in the west and northeast of England, but Britain will mostly see dry and warm temperatures to kickstart the weekend.

However, the forecaster warned parts of the UK will see snow ahead of Saturday, with a yellow weather warning in Scotland covering Glasgow and Edinburgh on Friday.

It would appear the meteorologists can't make up their mind.

This from this morning's 'Mirror':
Brits will be hit with a bout of summer heat within days as temperatures could hit the 20C mark.

Londoners are set to see some of the warmest weather before warnings of unsettled conditions and showers set in. The mercury will rise as high as a balmy 20C on Saturday, weather forecasts claim - the first time the mercury has hit that temperature benchmark this year.

But then goes on to say:
But from 5pm onwards, on-off rain is expected in a period of unsettled weather set to continue throughout the week, the Met Office says. A long-range forecast from the service says "rain and showers are likely at times" between April 18 and May 2, adding that "there is also a reasonable chance of some drier and sunnier spells of weather".
Utter confusion.
