It won't help you now, but the guy we used to use has had his premises demolished for the new trackside road that will run adjacent to Petchkasem. So many useful businesses that we've found and cherished over the years, gone without trace

I think they moved across the tracks on the north /south section of Soi 88 before it turns and goes up the hill.

Thank you - we have some framing to do. I'll get my son to check it out soon.

Theres a place in Cha am that does a lot of framing for local artists in Hua Hin. How do I know? One took me there to repair a frame for a painting damaged in transit from the UK.

It's easy to get to. Head to Cha Am on the Petch Road and at the first set of lights, just under a bridge, turn left. This is the road that takes you to Cha Am's day market. It's about 200 metres up on the left, easily identifiable. If you get to the market a little further on, you have gone too far.

They repaired my frame for about 2 pounds! I have since had other pieces framed there.

There's a frame shop on Soi Hua Hin 55/1 (or used to be before COVID). Don't know the quality of their frames though as I only wanted a piece of glass, cut to size.

I used that place several times and had good work but it was a while back and I also don't know if it survived Covid.
