Timber Yard

Post by bigston »

I had some bathroom vanity units made from a lovely hardwood late last year
by the timber yard opposite the entrance to the palace just next to the pedestrian overpass
top job, but no more timber
does anyone know of any other timber yard that might have slabs of timber
apart from going back to Dan Singkhon
Thank You

There is a timber yard on Soi 112, on the left as you travel west (inland) from Petkasem towards the bypass, within a kilometer or 2 of Petkasem. I think the road sign at the timber yard says “Soi Hua Na 17”. They have quite a variety of 2nd hand wood, not sure if they will have what you are looking for but if they don’t then they can probably point you to other shops with similar products.

The timber yard mentioned in the OP used to sell wood shavings.

i know the place, had a good poke around when looking for some long straight timbers, which i found at
the place on the other side of the road... might be worth revisiting them as well
