Interesting old house turned into a museum. I often used to wonder about where that building style came from. The first house that I had in Bangkok over 30 years ago was built in that exact manner. The weather boards are mounted vertically, no lining inside at all, just the bare walls with the framing run horizontally.
The windows were a bit different, but I suspect that mine had been replaced from the old style wooden shutters shown in the photos. Amazingly, the paint colour was that exact shade of green!

The eleectrical "connection" was a flexible cable through a hole drilled through a board, tied off with a knot in the cable, and then into an old porcelain screw in type of fuse. Just the one!

I did a lot of renovation to it, and I believe that it is still standing. :thumb:
