Well, fair play - he played some great tennis. Be fair though, Tsitsipas must have taken an unfair advantage somewhere along the line..... He's sponsored by Red Bull!!
Lost wrote: Fri Jul 07, 2023 11:59 pm Norrie out, too. Our last hope is Broady.
Yup, it's got to be bloody difficult playing 4 or 5 (hopefully) sets in this heat/humidity.

Perhaps I'm being too harsh here. Knee jerk.

Not in his favour was the age gap for Murray giving away best part of 12 years - at this level that’s quite a gap, so he can be proud of making one hell of a game of it. Will it be the last year that Murray competes at Wimbledon?

Did well as you say, and I don't think it's the last we'll see of him at Wimbledon - might be his swansong next year though.

I had the cricket on the TV and BBC red button on my laptop for the tennis. I have another big TV I could set up in the living room now I lost my wife, but even I have some standards, it's not a bloody man cave (yet). The PC's already on the dining room table instead of one of the spare bedrooms....

Well, it's obviously massively disappointing for him, especially at Wimbledon and in front of a "home crowd". Emotions running high after the match, so could well be a different outlook after he's had time to reset....

And Silverstone - but it could make things a tad more interesting there... :thumb:

Oh, I completely forgot that. Haven't had the heart to watch it since I lost my wife (it was one of our together things). Corrie the same, although some will say that's good for me.

I'm watching the qualifying now, give it a try.

Djokovic breaks Alcaraz serve straight away. The youngest ever #1in history versus possibly the best ever in history. Hopefully it's a good battle!
