It's that time of year again and we're hitting the business end. Last night was one of the best sessions of snooker I think I've ever seen between John Higgins and Mark Allen. Incredible stuff.

Favourite Ronnie is 9-10 behind to Bingham. Hell of a session we have ahead of us (or 'me', it appears noone else follows the snooker ).

Wilson 10-8 ahead on the other table! Difficult to know which match to follow.

Outrageous for a scene like the Crucible. 10-10 Ronnie/Bingham and the doorman (person) keeps letting people in (returning to the other table) on a crucial shot after being told repeatedly not to let anyone else in while Ronnie takes the shot.

Fired in 5 minutes, ridiculous.

Ronnie made the shot but lost the frame. Can see he's furious, but...

Losing his head over the incident, Ronnie asks the female ref to 'chill'. He'd never dream of saying it like that to a male ref. Ronnie reminds us sexism is alive and well.

Next he'll tell her to 'stop being hysterical' after she asks if he wants Bingham to retake the foul shot.

Oh it's a fair while since I really watched snooker, though I keep up with things on occasion. Christ, I was watching the likes of Ray Reardon, Terry Griffiths, "Hurricane", "Whirlwind" , Thorburn and Big Bill who I think could drink the bar dry by himself during a match!!

Glad to hear O'Sullivan is out and of course Jak Jones is through....
