Whats happening to Soi 6
What has made BoFai soi 6 so popular lately. When my wife and I bought our land here about a year ago there was almost nothing around here apart from one house over the road. Now ther is Natural Hill, Emeral Hill and three house on all sides of us. The piece of land just next to us is on offer for two million baht, nearly four times what we paid a year ago and the three homes behind us have been sold for four million each. Just eight months ago I could not even get my place sold when I never had the money to complete it and now the area is exploding. Am I missing something or what?

You fortunately picked a good spot that a speculator would have been proud of.
You need to finish the house get it valued by a number of agents and put it on the market.
You have, of course, to be aware of the changes in land transfer. The dust seems to settled on that one but I do not know the details.

Word got round mate, that's where I live. Good, innit?
It took me a long time to work out that this was a top area to move to. Nice area, great views, cooler than town, 5 mins to Palm Hills, 5 mins to/from town, 150 baht in a tuktuk if you're too pissed to drive, 1 min to the beach, infrastructure moving in etc etc
Lets just say those of us there were clever/lucky enough to spot the potential 2 years ago.

And you also have got Noble House there where I live. Coming there soon 20 dec. so watch out ....hahah
I must agree, its a lovely area and I consider myself very lucky to have bought here. I never studied the market at all and was simply looking for a piece of land at a decent price when we ended up buying this. Some of the posters on here may remember me posting a thread on here some months back asking how best to sell a house which is not yet complete. A few replies suggested I don't sell but instead move in and continue trying to finish the house. Well, the wife and I did exactly that and moved in without even having windows or doors. While we did get many very strange looks, it was quite an experience but one which we don't regret and one that gave us many laughs evn though it was pretty hard at times.
Anyway, apart from a few things here and there, the place is complete and we're happy we hung on to it now.
It's a lovely area with a nice quite country feeling but I only hope its not going to change too much too soon.

A Greatfull Guest of Thailand
I am gonna hazard a guess on Takiaps behalf
How about Takiap came here before the good ole US of A in the form of mr armitage and his entourage came here and forced the enforcement and strict adherence of visa rules in their war on terror
It changed nothing in the law but it changed a lot for people who have been here a long time
And the good ole US of A just doesnt have a problem with collatteral damage now do they
Hope you can find a way Takiap and best of luck
ill pm you later
