Anybody know of where I can this conversion done? :o

Not really sure what you mean, a VCD is a CD ... Video Compact Disc. A CD is usually associated with audio content.

You need an analog to digital converter, I think Wanderlust has done it with some of his old vids.

Anyone with a tv card could do it for you as they have a AV in port. the sound from the vhs would go in the line in on the pc.
it's a good idea to back up old vhs moments to pc or vcd.

If you have a VHS player with an RF output you could route this into a TV card in your computer and record onto DVD, providing that you have movie software. TV cards are very cheap these days.
