Mr. Terry Sir!
there'a reason going senile about it.
Here's one of my tales from my University years @ the Campus way Inside Palm Hills. It was at the start of one Semester, We Seniors where checking out the new Freshmen Students. One Freshie stood out cause he was driving a Honda CRV but his appearance and looks where really young. We Interacted with the freshmans and it turns out he was 16 when he started theory and by his 17th. Birthday he got his Drivers Licence.
That proves your point! krab! :thumb:

Not sure about motor bike I think it's 15 or 16, but a car is definitely 18 as my daughter is 17 and having lessons.

Is there a driving school in HH Shadow? If so can you let me know the whereabouts?

Jimmy, if you cross the railway in the centre of town, and go straight ahead up the Lek Fai road, there is a driving school about a kilometer on the right. They will get you through a driving test in 5 days for three thousand baht. But that is just to get the license which only requires driving around the test centre grounds. If you wanted more instruction you have to pay more.

Reminds me of when I got lessons for Mrs.T

Made her learn in a manual shift jeep with no power steering courtesy of Bangkok International Driving School at Makasan - 10 yrs ago

Always remember the application form requesting two pasport size photos with no hat & no GRASSES  - (honest)

Now she's a real champ and finds the auto Honda a breeze.

Mind you - the column shift fat tyred non power steering pickup does still present a challenge.

I presume that when two 10 year-olds share a motor cycle this is legal since their total age is 20.
