free to air sat??
Once you go Asian you will never go Caucasian !!
Southern Cross Central is an oz based channel off the Optus D1 sat.
It has many current popular soapies on show.
For the H.H area you will need a larger sized dish set to azimuth 96 deg. and 21 deg elevation-roughly on my estimations.Any structures or trees in line of sight may be a problem as this is low to the horizon by most standards.
This is a free to air service but oz regulations prohibit broadcast to certain areas including o'seas. To overcome this, you need a decoding card for your tuner. They are available on application for use WITHIN Australia but you should be able to get over this hurdle via a helpful ozzie.
Other f.t.a 's include ABC ,SBS, Impaja and you should get GWN and WIN channels plus some great radio too. But all will need decoded cards, some with only minimal problems , others requiring some more fancy foot work to get around the system-- your local system installers may even be able to help out in this department.
All the basic tech info is up on the Lyngsat and Satcodx web sites.

Complexity is so simply overrated
