Pete,
Not quite right there about the banker bonus. It increases in increments of 5 to a maximum of 20 this season. As long as you keep getting the correct outcome, or the result correct, of your banker, the +20 points continues ad infinitum.
However, get the wrong outcome and you're back to zero again. Also, instead of getting -10 for a wrong outcome, you'll get -20 or -30 depending on the "odds" on the game.
Each week, the games involving the top 4 or 5 teams only merit x2 bonus (or deficit). All others are x3.
So, if you place your banker on a game not involving the top clubs that week and get it wrong, you lose 30 points. Or 20, depending. And your bonus is reset to zero.

I didn't, but for a large part of the game I thought I had the correct outcome as I had predicted Villa to win. Bloody S***s!! Agreed though, cracking game.

You need to be careful what you promise on this forum. We had somebody promise to eat something unsavoury a while back - when it came to it, his bottle went

I have only been playing IKTS for 4 weeks. With an increasing frequency it seems that whenever I try to access the IKTS site, it is undergoing maintenance. Is this a regular feature of the site, or it just experiencing problems at the moment.

My biggest concern is that I'm going to miss the window of opportunity, and not get my scores on one week. If the worst should happen, what happanes to my scores?

It was a close run thing 2 weeks ago. I got my predictions on to the site on the Tuesday. On the Friday morning I received an e-mail advising me that the site had been experiencing problems, and I had to do it all again.

they had a few initial problems but they seem to be sorted
it usually displays that maintenance notice when its updating the scores & points on a weekend.
if you miss your predictions, the ikts computer predicts them for you  up to a maximum of 3 times during the season.
i would get them sorted earlier in the week then change them at a later day if you get some insider info etc

Hi BB

As Redz states you have 3 IKTS "lives". If you're unable to enter your predictions for any reason IKTS will enter the most popular predictions that week for you. I'm not sure what happens after a player has used all 3 "lives" and unable to enter predictions? (Zero scores or removed from the game? I'll look up the rules when I have time!)

A friend of mine, and a HHAD team player, who should perhaps remain nameless to save him from possible embarassment, could not get into the website last week to make his predictions.

I wasn't aware of his problems but I noticed he clocked-up his best score EVER and I sent him an email to congratulate him for his change of fortune (luck?!)

He responded with his usual honesty and admitted he didn't, couldn't, make any predictions due to being unable to access the website so IKTS used one of his 3 lives - the result - a massive and flattering +130 points!! :D

As a result he has decided to use his other 2 "lives" - only joking!!!

I see the HHAD Team has moved to 44th position out of 1,127 Teams so quite a respectable position - nicely tucked-in behind the leaders and ready to move up the field!! :guns:  :guns:

Let's go get 'em guys!! :thumb:

 bradders

That surprises me, Bradders.
I think it was two seasons ago, the first one for HHAD, I missed a game week and the "prediction buddy" as it was called at the time was responsible for me getting a huge minus score.
One week, last season when back in the UK, I didn't enter my scores until after lunch, completely forgetting I was in a different time zone and one of the matches kicked off at midday. Lost on that one as well and one of the three lives was gone. So, you lose a life even if it's for one game missed - which isn't surprising.
The blurb on the web site always used to warn players that the "prediction buddy" was not exactly well-renowned for accuracy. As far as I'm aware, those that havn't played for 3 weeks are taken out of the league - ie no predictions made - but they can join back in if they so wish later on. Judging by some of my scores last month, I might have been better going with the computer.

I was robbed!!!
Not a bad week for me but the blooming Hampsters scored a third in injury time to make it 3-1. I had them as banker at 2-1 and it was a 3x bonus game. :cuss:

A good week for almost everybody. Even those scoring 100 were still losing ground. I guess the results were all fairly predictable.

The lives left feature has a bug. I have been entering my scores at least two weeks in advance since the start. I have received about 10 emails telling me that my account will be closed if I do not enter scores. I have also noticed that my lives left is 1/3.

I have checked the history and although my results have been poor They are what I would have predicted and not done by the computer. As far as I can make out the scores have been tallied OK.

Of course the emails are from noreply addresses.

What's your handle now, Guess? Quite a few of us thought you weren't playing this season.
