Remember you cant just upload direct from the digital camera or the files will be huge and you'll get those errors.

We have ten entries now but can accept a few more, email them to webmaster@huahinafterdark.com and they will be included.

Will run the comp tomorrow.

I struggled with this re-sizing issue for the first competition but have since found out that the camera is savvier than me, and can do it for you with two presses of a button. If anyone else is having problems with this, have a look at the camera menu, I had know idea that this function existed.

There are plenty of image resizing applications that you can download if your camera can't do it, or your existing software doesn't (although i would doubt that). I haven't tested it myself but adionSoft Fast Image Resizer would seem to do the trick for Windows users. Mac users will normally have something on their system already I think.

It might be a good idea to hold a sort of teaching session for those that want to acquire some general computer skills. Like picture resizing and the like. Photo-shop is a great programme, which I would be happy to show people, although I suspect there are a lot of people out there that could show me a thing or two. We could meet at someones house, and impart some knowledge to each other. Just a thought....:D

I didn't! I did exactly as I had done for the previous two comps!

Anyway, just sent my entry by email.
