Richard, Look forward to hearing how BB manages to spice up your GFs sunday roast, particularly the cauliflower cheese.

Richard, I realise that was a joke, but it comes across as unfair. Both Bill & his wife are lovely people & good hosts, who have often in the past given myself & my mum drinks & food etc on the house (both in the original Buffalo Bill's and Fisherman's Wharf). And (until now) I never had to advertise the fact, either. They even held a fundraising quiz night for HHDRC once. You can't fault their generosity (or their food - although I haven't been to the new place yet). They are good people &, as I said before, HH needs more of those. :D

JW just read the post about what they serve there and notice they have Stella in there.
I do remember you once telling me to bring you some with me the next time.
Can see you drinking in there a lot if the Stella is good.
Not far to stumble barck to Gerts place if I stay theer again as well, things are looking up in HH

Hi,

I was there 2 weeks ago, not impressed at all by the service, as the owner or manager was sitting in a corner with his wife and kids, but positively impressed by the quality of the food.

As for the beer, its spelled HOEGAARDEN, and its blonde beer, not red beer as per your website.

NEVER!!!! the owner / manager sitting in the corner with his wife and kids, the audacity of the man. Did you think of calling the police? And as for spelling HOEGAARDEN wrong put him up against the wall.

Yes, I fully agree you should be shot for the misspelling, but at least caned and dismembered first. Shame on you !!!
Or alternatively serve me a free one on my next visit in june......

By the way, do you know what is added in a cold-served Hoegaarden ?
