Pediatrician in HuaHin?

Post by subdoedel »

Hello,
I stay for a few month in HH and I shall be visited by my very young grandchildren. Does anybody know if there are Pediatricians ("specialiced Doctors for diseases in childhood") available in HH.

The above is OK for minor things, but for anything serious (or out of the ordinary) you're far better served in Bangkok, IMO.

Samet Clinic has has very dedicated doctor but as Dawn mentions, for very serious conditions, Bangkok may be a better option. Of course I also have to suggest Petcharat Hospital which has a very very good reputation.

I think I used Samet before and can recommend it also for shots and the such. Is it the one on the LHS heading south before you get to San Paolo which I have had a bad experience at (SP that is) b4 but stop sort of saying "don't recommend either" because have been many times and it worked out (on little stuff anyway)

My visitors from Europe may need the services of a paediatrician for their infant who is susceptible to chest infections. Can you recommend a doctor or a clinic/hospital? With thanks.

I've never used him, but many on here have sung the praises of Dr Samet, who has a clinic opposite San Paulo Hospital.

I can fully recommend Doctor A. at the Pediatric Department at Bangkok Hospital! He accompanied my three kids over the 5 years we lived in Hua Hin and never gave us reason to complain. He has been around the block a few times and is a well experienced Pediatrician.

Cheers,
B.
