I have now watched a re-run of the game, and my lower left leg did make a short appearance on BBC 1 whilst the Welsh team were in their huddle. Something to show my grandchildren!!

Now don't be shy - reveal all! How did you get to be a flag bearer?

It's amazing what opportunities arise when you're earning the Queen's shilling!

Sorry, I've been consoling myself with a double helping of Dancing on Ice

Seriously, its not a lot of good whooping the arses of the English in the minor competitions when you can't even beat a bunch of second rate South Sea Islanders like Fiji in the real competition.

Still, regardless of how much it was gift wrapped, it must make you feel good against the team recently relegated to 2nd in the world.

 Enjoy
Championship Stoke City 3 - 0 Plymouth Argyle

Points 48; Position 20

Ha ha! You'll have to do MUCH better than that! Keep telling it to yourself though if it makes you feel better!

Talking of second rate South Sea Islanders, I see that England are now selecting them in their side to go with the Springbok reject second rate South Africans they have traditionally gone for.

Yup - that strength in depth of home grown talent is really something!

Although someone told me that Vainikolo is actually a Cornish name...

it was a classic case of england snatching defeat from the jaws of victory :(
after watching all 3 games over the weekend the only conclusion i can come to is that france will win the easiest grand slam in history!! :(

Nah - I can't see that French team going unbeaten. It was a very, very poor performance from Scotland. I don't think anyone will win the Grand Slam this year - it is harder these days than ever. I can't remember who the last team to win a Grand Slam was......Oh yes, I remember now. It was Wales. :D

I guess it's best if we all just keep quiet after this weekend's fayre -

Wales flatter to deceive against dismal Scotland, Ireland fail to turn up for first half against charmed France (great second half though) and England struggle to overcome feisty but one dimensional Italy (if Italy had a 9 who could pass and a 10 who could kick they might be a decent side)

Three low quality games :(
