A lot of these were taken with a 300mm lens. If you try to get them ?head on? they hide.

pfotoguy,

After some great pictures yesterday, all I'm getting with today's offering is a little white box with a red X inside. Have you uploaded them correctly?

Or is it the fun police now that I'm back at work after the Easter break? They've probably picked up on the word 'nudes' in your posting :?

Again some spiffing shots. What influenced the fat lady bronzes? I'd wager they must have been based on a visiting English seaside landlady! Is that really moonshine... Bloody big hangover there.
I love the monk with the camera, did he take a picture of you?
Looking forward to part lll...

We saw a lot of backpackers in Laos especially Vang Vieng. Mostly young collage age fairly fit people.

That was Lao whiskey. don't drink myself but it could probably peel paint.

I'll do some pics of the country side pretty soon.

We want to go back but fly into Laung Prabang then take the river farther north. Rainy season starts in may so it will be awhile before we go

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments

Yeah the Monk and I did trade pictures

Lots of the backpackers sat in cafes/bars watching "Friends" reruns all day. Quite a cultural experience they had, wonder what great travel tales they told their buddies when they got home.
