Just watching the news this lunchtime,Thaksin has fired Sven Goran Eriksson from Man City.

Blackburn have given City permission to speak to Mark Hughes,
so Thaksin may not have made such a bad decision for once.

Signed a 3 year contract with City today but maybe a bit of a poisoned chalice......what happens if they have a bad start to next season ?

hughes is on win win situation,do well utd will come calling when taggart retires,do poorly gets sacked and good pay off he is on 500000 more than sven was to add to the bargain
