I know this has been raised before but it never ceases to amaze me that with such an ex-pat population they never seem to show films with their original soundtrack or even English subtitles.
Here in Bangkok all the cinemas I use show the movies with the original soundtrack with Thai subtitles, even in a predominantly Thai residential area, and the locals seem to enjoy it.
I saw Hellboy2 in KL a couple of weeks ago; it had its English soundtrack with subtitles in Malay and Japanese.
Perhaps it's a cunning plan to get us to learn Thai, or to ensure there is a market for pirated DVD's.

I dont know about anyone else but I always prefer to watch foreign language films with the original soundtrack.
I wouldnt sit and watch Ong Bak or Pans Labyrinth for example, with English dubbed over it.
I wonder what the Thai thought on this is.
Watching what is apparently one of the best all time performances of a villain in the Dark Knight, with piss poor Thai dubbing over the top.

ST's method works for me, the BuksiMax this weekend showed the latest Batman flick, Vantage Point, Hancock, Wanted and Wall-E (which was the best IMO) - all in English.
