haircut

whilst we are on the subject of beauty parlours - does anyone know where I can get a haircut? Ive got short curly hair. What price can I expect to pay. It usually has to be cut wet and scrunched dried.

Im working on the basis that I wont want to eat cake, biscuits and bread when Im in thailand and then I might lose a pound or two. With all that exotic fruit around I should be less tempted to eat chocolate. I suppose I will make it up with the beer and gin though. 2 weeks and counting - bring it on.

we had the best dog in the world - he'd adopted my dad when he was a stray and when my dad died we had him another 10 years (we think he was about 17). I had to take him to be put to sleep and I felt like a murderer. Even worse was the fact that my bus was late and I had to rush him to get to the ve...

we used to have condensed milk sandwiches and we also made the stuff that one post is calling sugar ali but we called it "spanish" water. Another thing we had was licquorice root which resembled a dried stick and you chewed the end. we would make it last for days!!

I had a similar thing happen to me in Bangkok. The taximeter drivers just wont put the meter on, they always want to take you without it. I have had to "vote with my feet" on a couple of occasions as I was unable to budge the drivers on using their meters. They always say "I show you ...

I live in the UK and am looking to move to Hua Hin early next year. Should I try to get private medical insurance here to cover me or wait until Im in Hua Hin? Any advice would be appreciated.
