It is very unlikely they would have used a new container. Any container more than 3 years old when dumped would fit the bill as 20 years old and dumped in 1992.... And then this. How they make such assumptions is beyond me. PM: Container not linked to Black May By: BangkokPost.com Published: 17/05/2...

whether it is good news or not depends on whether they carry on implementing their own ideosyncratic views of thai immigration policy.

i used to use it every trip until early 2007. if travelling alone it was not a lot more than the taxi, and the evening flight getting to BKK at 8.45pm tied in nicely with the international flights to Europe. But, then they changed the timetable so it meant leaving HH at the same time as if i got a t...

so, closing the beaches, the bars, the markets, some roads, and all the parking in town is good for HH ? Exactly who in HH is going to do well out of this ? Its going to make any tourist here decide not to come back next year, and they will also tell there friends as well. How many feet does thailan...

it is possible to get large LEO for 45 baht in HH overlooking the sea on fairly comfortable seats. i think it was 2 baht for ice.

Conversely, it is possible to pay 100+ baht for a small beer with no sea view. you takes yer pick.

"A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours..."

Is there any such person within 3 hours of HH ? Lets say 90 minutes given the time taken to identify the problem and getting through to some one who understands what the caller is talking about.

It would be a positive if during and before the conference they stop the locals setting fire to anything that doesnt move too quickly. Cant see just one hotel being used. Each nation will probably have quite a large delegation, so maybe only 1 or 2 delegations per hotel - and then all the travel has...

No problem with LNG. When a water truck lost control going backwards down a hill and impaled itself on my Fortuner - which no one was in as it was parked whilst i watched from 20 yards away - the assesors came down from Petchaburi, the forms were filled in, and (since it was still drivable) we drove...

thats HH effectively closed for those 4 days and the few days before hand as security will be very tight, and HH doesnt have the ring roads to divert traffic round town. And when they are moving delegations from hotels to the conference, then it will be like when the king moves, except that we will ...

Concern mounts at Thai airport security lapses

I think this is going to run and run and suspect that BKK's plan to be the hub for south east asia is now in tatters. By David Fox BANGKOK, Dec 4 (Reuters) - As Thai authorities race to get Suvarnabhumi airport ready for full international operations, airline officials and diplomats fear major secur...

Firefly (Malay air low cost) also fly from Subang.

Dont forget on the drop down to look for flights from Subang.

My apologies. I meant Subang to Samui (not Phuket) ! Which is / was better as it timed very well with the flights from Samui to HH (which may not run now that BKK is open again).
