Nice that you had a good meal, but the manner of your review is troublesome. The owner of the Pasta Factory is probably well-aware that both his personal reputation and that of his restaurant have been absolutely hammered on this website. Upon seeing people from HHAD (a site he continues to advertis...

Usa-Maas

OK, OK, I almost hate to post this for fear of going to dinner one night and not being able to get a table, but I reckon the best food in Hua Hin is at Usa-Maas ("OOsah", not "U.S.A.!"), located just south of Khao Takiab, on the road to the Blue Wave and Suan Son beach, about 100...

Hey Wil, I've kitesurfed in HH almost every windy day for years. Last season, there was some good wind (and very polluted water from heavy rain) at the end of October, but it was a bit of a freak thing. You might get some wind in October again but I would not bank the whole holiday on it. Oct is a t...

canoe

The plan is to build a one-man, ocean-going outrigger canoe, about 5 meters long, about 40 centimeters wide, using teak plywood overlaid with epoxy. I paddle competively in 6-man outriggers in California, but need something to paddle to stay in shape during my long sojourns here. I think 4 litres of...

fiberglass/epoxy?

Does anyone know a place near HH that sells fiberglass or epoxy resin, along with fiberglass cloth? The Home Pro and hardware stores don't think they can even order it, though it must exist somewhere. Thanks!

contrast

In contrast there is that fine Italian deli across from All In Hua Hin. I am sorry that I don't have the name and address of the place, because the pasta is great, the staff are so friendly, and the owner seems to really take pride in the food. Like when you walk into Crawford's and feel that sudden...

P Factory - could it suck any worse?

The worst meal I ever had in Hua Hin was last night at the Pasta Factory. The tall farang running the place is one the rudest clowns in town. I had to literally pull my bag away from him after we sat down, because for some reason he wanted to put it outside while we ate. There was only one other cou...
