Re: RIP - Ian Lewins

There is no easy way to hijack this thread -I am Ian's son!
I'd like to publicly thank all of you for your kind words, especially Richard for leading with the thread and obituary.
Best regards/wishes to you all.

A wonderful end to a difficult season!

thought Benfica would sneak a winner after the penalty.
Not a classic, but still good to see another English win in Europe and to see the scowl on Platini's face

Re: Greetings from Berkshire

Glad to hear that Richard. Looking forward to seeing his old photos. :D Thanks, I Should say that I will try and keep a low profile, but from the encouragement received so far I'm sure things will be just fine. Sharing photos may take some further courage, but once I find them (remember these are t...

Re: An Alternative Tribute to Sir Alex

Hello Sports Fans! ... I failed to even say hello on my first post, no excuses but i hope you'll allow me this opportunity to correct that? That's more like it! Glad we didn't put you off with our rather rough and ready 'welcome'. Mind you, after that first post I had you marked as a probable spamm...

I had a few beers with an Andrew from Berkshire here some while back. There again there must be many Andrews in Berkshire and a few will no doubt have been to Hua Hin

7 yellow cards and a late goal for Leicester, 2nd leg should be interesting, but most probably will be a cautious event.

Greetings from Berkshire

Hi all, after many years observing from the sidelines i've finally summoned up the courage to register and join in the banter. As a frequent visitor to Hua Hin since 1987 I enjoy reading (and sometimes I don't) of updates and challenges that Hua Hin faces as it continues to expand from what I recall...

Re: An Alternative Tribute to Sir Alex

Fond memories of Watford back in the late seventies and eighties, with Graham Taylor, John Barnes and Luther Blissett, and not forgetting Elton John!
Watford probably deserve a crack at the premiership, but the play offs can be cruel.

An Alternative Tribute to Sir Alex

The football-related media is in a frenzy of mourning today after the announcement that Sir Alex Taggart has decided to step down as Supreme Dictator of the FA Premier League. Who will follow him, they ask, tearing their hair and wringing their hands in distress. Chelsea fans may be surprised to hea...
