Re: Parcel service to Europe that accepts electronics

If you can't find any other way of doing it, I travel from Hua Hin to Luxembourg every couple of months and could bring you a few tools if it wasn't anything heavy. To be honest, it's a pity you didn't post this a couple of weeks ago because I just brought back an empty suitcase! Hey Steve, I sent ...

Re: Parcel service to Europe that accepts electronics

But is it normal Post Office says they can't deliver electronics? I know that many countries' post office don't shop Li-Ion batteries because of fire risks, but electronics in general?

Re: Parcel service to Europe that accepts electronics

@handdrummer Yes I know, but there are a few quite valuable items (professional grade electronic tools) which would be more expensive to replace, and some not so expensive but really lightweight things, which should make the affair cost-effective. Unless I end up having to pay a lot of customs fees....

Re: Parcel service to Europe that accepts electronics

I will consider DHL but I suppose it will be expensive. Like I said, it's a ~15 kg parcel to EU (Luxembourg). I've tried to get a quote on DHL's website, but the form keeps telling me incorrect postcode and/or city (I tried 77110, Hua Hin).

Parcel service to Europe that accepts electronics

Hello everyone! I used to live in Thailand but am now in Luxembourg. I asked my old neighbor to send a box of my things to me. There are some hand tools, an electrical multi-meter and a Dremel (corded power tool). There are also a few electronic parts (e.g. resistors, transistors, LEDs, etc). Just t...

Re: If anyone wants to rent or buy a good used bike

I don't know about Google. Bicyclists commonly call their vehicles bikes, while motorcyclists are also known to call the motorbikes "bikes". If it was a bicycle or motorbike forum, the meaning would be easy to guesstimate, but I'm sure folks here ride both kind of "bikes". I ride...

Re: Pranburi - rent

Hey guys, you're still interested for February rent? The community where I'm renting an apartment (unit in a private house) has a big pool, has a free apartment (2-bedroom) for rent as of now, and if you require a house, I can ask if they have any houses for rent.

Re: Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 - where to rent?

Both KLX and D-Tracker has some limiter built in the ECU, which significantly limits the acceleration at higher speeds, and top speed itself. I've read about it before and witnessed in person when test riding them in Kui Buri. The easiest way to override that limiter (at least as a temporary solutio...

Re: Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 - where to rent?

I tried the CBR250 already, I prefer the seating position of a supermoto bike. I test rode the D-Tracker 250 in Kui Buri already, but would like a longer test ride to get a better feel. As for road bikes, the Kawa Ninja 300 (also tried in Kui Buri) was a real pleasure to ride, really nicer than CBR2...

Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 - where to rent?

I'd like to try the Kawasaki D-Tracker 250, so looking for a rental bike for a couple of days.
Any pointers? There was one around the end of Soi 94, but they don't have it anymore.
