I just did a search and according to Tripadvisor the charge for cashing Travellers Cheques will be increased from 33Baht to 153Baht per cheque from 1 March.
I better change enough in the next 2 days to last out my trip.

Started belting down in Khao Takiab at 5.30pm, followed by electricity going down for 20 minutes, just come back on. The rain has eased off a bit at the moment but looks like it will probably resume again soon.

I came in on it two weeks ago (1130 service), left 15 minutes late but made up the time and arrived in Hua Hin at about 1520. Only two empty seats onboard. Good service, I'll be using it again when I leave. Booking on website was easy too.
