Re: Airport VIP Bus to and from Hua Hin

IMO this VIP-coach is perfect for transit Suvarnabhumi - Hua Hin. I used it a couple of weeks ago, I had extra luggage (golf-bag), which they charged me 100 baht for. I thought it was expensive, but found myself loosing the argument at the counter at Suvarnabhumi, hehehe. Coming to HH, the taxi from...

Re: Private detective in Hua Hin?

I must say I agree with mo1, asking an honest question deserves an honest answer. Instead of being dissed by a couple of oldtimers who knows everything. It is not difficult having fun on others behalf. If you want to spread your sarcasm and morbid humour, you should start your own thread for the pur...

Thank you guys for posting videos, for me doing my second visit to Hua Hin this x-mas, it is interesting and fun to watch. I believe videos taken in daylight, are the most informative ones. Thanks again all!

Re: When was your first visit to Hua Hin?

I desperately needed to get away from work and the daily routine at home, and a friends recommendation led me to HH in December 2012. I brought my golfclubs and spent 10 days of recreation in HH. The ease and pace of the place really charmed me, I am going back again this winter.

Re: Finding a Good 'Farang'

Hmm... I'm new to this site, and I don't speak Thai.. I'm from Indonesia and English is my 1st language... Anyway, I was just wondering, since Hua Hin is a place for 'retirement', where can I make new friends with farangs in their 30s? Depends on what exactly you mean by "in their 30's". ...

Re: I want STEAK!!!

I had a steak at Prime last time in Hua Hin, and wasnt impressed at all. It was soggy and raw. Me being a polite quiet dude, didnt complain. Ate up, paid my bill and left. It was quite an expensive place as well. It is absolutely not my first choice.

Re: Smoking in Restaurants

Smoking in restaurants is a pain, and quite ignorant towards the nonsmoking guests. It reduces the quality of the place alot, in my opinion. I prefer restaurants without cigarettesmoke coming from neighbouring tables.
