Re: Tax residency in Thailand and taxing overseas income

Until somebody says something official regarding a process, I don't see how these guys can be earning their windfall. I suppose there is already an official process to file a tax return for any year that you're resident for tax purposes. I'm curious how many people will actually do that. If we are ...

I’ve never seen one quite as overloaded as this one, but it’s an all too common sight, due to the inadequacy of the traffic cops policing the roads!! Re: Ceiling/roof insulation

I am now looking at various ways for house cooling/ventilation. This what I come up with so far Doors/Windows - replacing the old rubbish aluminium type for new good quality uPVC. As I have replaced a number of these already, it definitely made a difference. Roof - I'm not a fan of the spray foam s...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

I test drove the ORA 07 recently. very nice car, good performance and range. But the (mostly) glass roof makes it hot inside. Two comments - I have an MGHS with a panoramic sunroof but with the shade in place I’ve not noticed it being particularly hot? The price of the Ora 07 is similar to BYD’s Se...

Re: Top cop 'Big Joke' charged with bribery

The low ranking police officers are seriously underpaid and therefore corruption will naturally follow. it is well known that a lot of the "fines " are passed up the food chain.Sensible pay along with meaningful (legal) punishments not merely moved to inactive posts should be brought about...
