Forgive me, this is not really a Hua Hin question, but I read somewhere in HHAD that a farang that is 50 years or older can own land in his own namn in other parts of Thailand. Is this really thrue?

This is all very interesting. Selling houses in Thailand here in Sweden to swedes is getting bigger and bigger by the week. And the agents say: No problem, just register a company.

Cha-am is't that bad. Just don't go there when the bangkokians go there; weekends. The beach is much nicer than the Hua Hin beach and not so many farangs around.

You shouldn't need to pay more than 350. Thai pay 300.
