Well we have car and there are shuttle 3 times/day, but it's always nice with restaurants and shopping in walking distance.

Yes, just to confirm, cars get charged 20 Baht by the guard at the entrance. I believe motor cycles are free. Well at least it used to be free but last time there we had to pay a few Baht. Maybe 20 each, not much anyway. I didn't understood, or cared, if it was for entrance, parking or something co...

My wife don't allow me to go to Pattaya anymore, so Hua Hin it is.

Last year in January, stayed at Ibis so not much in city, this year at Banyan Resort, so I don't learn.

Hi I stay at Banyan Resort for some week and wounder if you know some good restaurants in waking distance from the hotel, or is it always taxi?
