Thank you Dawn for trying to bring it back under control and to Elem for her contribution. I guess it was a bit of an open question, but it has also started a dialogue on the subject between my wife and myself, so all to the good. A bit of background would probably have helped, my wife is 9 years yo...

Both of ours dearly love Thailand, have done for 14 years, but that was only for 3 weeks at a time. The rest of your life is a different matter. If we manage to get the OK ,then a sp...

It`s ok for the men but ???

As 2 married couples who have spent many a happy holiday in Thailand the subject of early retirement/"lets get the hell out of England" often comes up in conversation. Reading the comments made by the male population of Hua Hin and having been there ourselves ,it is easy to see that my bes...

Spain is now paying the price for the vast urbanisation programmes which have developed into nationality enclaves. An excellent example of t...

Hi Bas.

Understand that, so I assume that they are like campaign medals and change as you become more experienced and contributory to the Forum.

Real Ale v Chemicals

Forget London and the Midlands, the best real ale, emphasis on the real has to come from the West Country. There are some cracking mini breweries springing up every month. The Real Ale Festival last weekend was out of this world. More and more pubs are stocking "guest" real ales and the ge...
