Re: Forum members hang out?
Seems like a relatively simple and sincere question. Perhaps someone who knows the answer to such a straightforward question can provide it for Arnold. I've been in the same situation and would have benefited from such knowledge. Unfortunately, I haven't been in HuaHin for many years, so I'm unable ...

Yes, I too shared that very same thought. Child was taken to the temple for some high-level consultation. The advice dispensed: "Be careful for the next while." No money has changed hands thus far.

The headless Footballer
So, yesterday, my wife's son is at the temple kicking a ball around with his friends. One of the temple workers notices that he has no head. Alarmed, he goes directly to my wife's father and tells him about what he has seen - or in this case - failed to see: a head on his grandson's shoulders. Evide...

I appreciated the humour, Super Joe. It was funny, under the circumstances. The mods have a duty to enforce the rules, but they don't have to be drags about it. Don't feel guilty.

Karl -Ex marine from Hawaii
I have been searching for karl, for many years. He was an ex marine and a resident photographer and shit disturber of Hua Hin. He lived for a time in the Tong Mee Guesthouse. He later had an accident that left him in a wheel chair. I tracked down some of his pics on Flicker. com yesterday and there ...

Well said. Regardless of the merits or motivations concerning a topic, I respect eloquent, thoughtful writing. Everyone should keep in mind that we're all just small fish in a small fishbowl here, belching little bubbles in shallow waters.

G.B. Shaw hated the English language for its weird rules. He posed this example. How is GHOTI pronounced? According to him, it was pronounced: FISH. Can you figure out why?

Re: Hi Everyone.
Welcome Andy. When I was in HuaHin in 2005, I volunteered as an English teacher at a small school on the outskirts of town. I rode to and from this school everyday on a beat-up woman's peddle bike. The ex-pats having breakfast in the Shed Guesthouse used to laugh at me as I negotiated the morning tr...

PMs are non-informative for the rest of the readers. Would be interested in hearing stories from fellow men partnered with Thai ladies. I'm two years in to my marriage (she's with me in Whitehorse struggling through -30 winters) but seems to have a work ethic that is second to none. Her primary aim ...
