Sorry if I upset you, Richard!
I'm always happy to accept criticism, but it would be helpful if you at least mentioned why you completely disagree with my comments...
(I confess that I have only lived here for a year)

Re: Tourist Slump Continues
Maybe the ongoing dodgy economic situation in the UK might work in Thailand's favour by making a few more people consider emigrating here. Also, with building continuing everywhere this must surely result in a buyers market situation sooner rather than later. Getting here from London is now ridiculo...

Re: Can I keep phone number with expired pre-paid SIM card?
Or you could try the Nokia 210 with a full QUERTY/Thai keyboard. B2090 new from a phone shop in Cha Am. It offers fast basic internet access + Wi-Fi and fast texting. Has dedicated camera and Facebook buttons if that's your thing. Some apps provided, most are crappy and can be deleted when phoned pl...

I don't believe that high speed trains would be able to actually run at high speed on the existing metre gauge track anyway.

Hello and how to add a picture to my profile?
Hi! Just signed up today, after dabbling with Teak Door which I found just too big and too aggressive on occasions ...
Please can you advise how I can add a picture to my profile?
Cheers,
Chazz

Re: hua hin for retirement
I retired to a village between HH and Cha Am a year ago. Living between the two places, it's only a 30 min. motorbike ride or B20 bus ride to either: Hua Hin - Busy, vibrant and tuned in to providing everything for the retiree from abroad. I am able to visit and revert back to English culture for a ...
