Too true

Too true DawnHHDRC,
It truly is amazing. And it sometimes only takes the smallest of things to tip the scale and a blubbering mess ensues. Not really the done thing in Thailand. Well done if you managed to pull yourself together. Sorry things are so deep with hurt for you.

Spot on

With regards to your last post Sergeant I have to say you are spot on and I agree one hundred percent. I did not mean to get you angry and I was merely pointing out that it will be interesting to watch the outcomes. No one has the right (I believe) to meddle in the affairs of another country. And as...

Home is home

Sargeant you are quite correct - yes both parties were buying votes and I too believe that this does not make it right. I only said the lack of found evidence is worrying because the coup was based on that precise premise and not for any other reason. Whether Mr T did do anything wrong, or not it, n...

Interesting times ahead

I do think there are interesting times ahead for Thailand. And I believe this is only just beginning. Whilst Mr T was in England his wife joins him and then flys home with only hours to spare bearing the necessary paper that were ordered to be produced. Mt T didn't come. Then there is the worrisome ...

Wow what a thread

Taking a deep beath, I ummed and ahhed about replying here. Grief is one of the hardest emotions to overcome. When it bites it bites hard and the knife digging and gouging your heart is pure fire. There is a lot of grief in here and no matter where your grief comes from it is still just as hard to b...

Im glad someone has noticed

Since Tesco opened its big shop the smaller local businesses has suffered badly. What I don't understand is why people insist on shopping at Tesco when things are much cheaper at the local corner shop. For example if you want light bulbs (of any description) why go to Tesco when the Lady on the corn...

Does it work

While I try my hardest to avoid any and all, but One, forms of the E........ stuff I have been taking Centrum for a while now and I must say it does help in metabolism and energy levels. It is not a gimmick but proven by many around the world. The same can not be said for all the herbal multi's as m...

Different perceptions

I don't think the Thai Gov thinks that way Big Boy. They are use to shutting the bars for all sorts of things and have never worried too much about businesses and jobs. Ie. Kings Birthday, elections, Buccha days and any other reason they can come up with. Mind you having said that I wonder if they w...

I was worried about him

I am so glad that John has made it home. To have stayed in Hua Hin (even without the new visa changes) would have been his distruction. He's a nice man with problems. Thank you for the update.

You're right lomuamart

Spot on lomuamart, I once saw a very very drunk Farang drive his car down Soi Selakam and hit a road motorcycle over. By the time he stopped he was a fair way up the Soi. It took him several minutes to stagger back to where the bike and a very angry farang bike rider were waiting for him with the Po...
