Purchasing a cell phone plan at the airport
My wife and I are moving permanently to Thailand. We will arrive at สุวรรณภูมิ airport in late March and it is my wish to convert our unlocked GSM iphones for use in Thailand by purchasing prepaid plans at the airport upon arrival so we can use them immediately to call family and friends in the USA ...

Re: Dual citizenship with dual passports
I am not sure what you are saying. I will be entering Thailand with a retirement O-A visa. Are you saying that I can by checked by the Thai immigration officer in the same line with my wife who will be entering as a Thai national with her Thai passport and that that line will be a shorter line? Than...

My question regards the showing of passports at the airports by my wife who is a Thai national possessing both a Thai and a U.S. passport when she trav...

Mobile phone, ISP and electrical questions
My Thai wfe and I, after living in the USA for 23 years, will soon be moving to Thailand (either HUA HIN or WANG NAM KHIAO), and as an 80 year old non-tech savvy person, I have some questions about my use of my cell phone (I just bought my first smart phone - a GSM-UNLOCKED iphone 6 plus), ipad, com...

Residing in Wang Nam Khiao vs Hua Hin
After living in the USA for 23 years, my Thai wife and I will soon be moving to Thailand - either to Hua Hin or Wang Nam Khiao (gateway to Korat). We would greatly appreciate any compare and contrast comments from anyone who has knowledge of both places and has an opinion of the pros and cons of liv...

Re: Buying furniture in Hua Hin
Thank you for your input. - My wife is Thai; we are returning to her home country after 23 years in the USA, so we will not be required to pay import fees. - I did get an estimate from SIAM OLD TEAK and experienced a serious case of sticker shock - approximately ฿950K to furnish a 2 bedroom (1500 sq...

Buying furniture in Hua Hin
My wife and I will soon be moving to Hua Hin and will be buying or building a villa. I would greatly appreciate knowing the best place for purchasing furniture for our home. I would also like an estimate of the cost of furnishing a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home (approximate 1500 sq. ft.); I realize the...

Re: 90 day reporting
I read recently, on another blog, that it is now possible to do the 90 day reporting online throughout the country, so I assume said reporting can be done for those living in Hua Hin. I would greatly appreciate Any information regarding this matter. Sid L.
