Re: Trouble sleeping after Japanese food

Try having lunch as your main meal and only a snack for dinner. Never go to bed with a full stomach. It's good for not only sleeping but controlling weight.

Try pinching another guy's girl's butt in the US. Let me know how that works out for you.
Yes, they don’t use knives they use guns!!
Nah, not for something that minor, unless you're in Chicago where you get shot for breathing.

Just a good old fashioned butt whipping in most places.

Re: Long term house rental.

The house I am renting now will be available end of July. About 100m to the beach. Quiet area. Great for running, walking, biking. 3bdrm, 2 bath.

Great landlord and covered parking.

About 4 or 5 km S of Hua Hin in Khao Tao.

The real question here is 'Why was this guy carrying a knife in the first place? Did he expect trouble?'
Because he hasn't figured out how to cut food with a spoon.

No More Happy Hours

Saw a post the other on FB that the PM wants to put an end to happy hours, 2 for 1 specials, and any form of promoting alcohol.

Sorry I didn't think about copying a link at the time.

Re: ็็้็็็้Most practical and least expensive way to transfer large funds to Thailand?

I keep my money in my US bank. Can transfer 9,999 US per month before IRS gets interested.

Wire fee $40 US plus whatever the exchange rate is at that time.

I always transfer in USD not baht, that way the exchange is done on this end, which is usually less.

Re: Pros and Cons of Colonization

RCer. Why should it be free? http://smrakyat.com/ (a driving school). Seems like in Malaysia you don't just turn up and expect to pass a simple test. This website mentions L and P licences, Learner and Provisional (I guess). I doubt that driving without a licence is tolerated like here. In the US d...

Re: Pros and Cons of Colonization

I'm guessing that there is formal driver education provided for free before anyone is allowed to operate a motorized vehicle, in Malaysia.

I wish I could find the sausages Coffee Club uses. Best I've had in Hua Hin.
Have you asked them?
Yes, they make their own. Much tastier than a Cumberland or any of the others I've found in Hua Hin.

Remember, I'm American, British sausages don't work for me.
