Re: RE: Re: Tessaban Hua Hin, blue book to get ID card?
I'm interested in this thread as since buying a house last year the blue book has no entry at all for residents on p.2, which as my wife and I are not Thai seems to be correct from what I read here, but on p.18 the names of the previous owner and his wife (both farang) have been signed. I guess I s...

Re: Junta to launch nationwide corruption complaint center
i went to bluport today for my 90 day report. no paperwork, in and out in under 5 mins. all my info was on the computer. I was asked for only my address. the person attending me was polite and efficient. can't ask for more than that. You didn't even need the TM47? no, no paper work, no signatures. ...

Re: Tessaban Hua Hin, blue book to get ID card?
I guess I should go to the Tessaban to get a new blue book as easy proof of house ownership? Or not necessary? Or not possible to change? Go to the Tessaban by all means, but as posted both here and many times before: a persons name in a blue book is NOT proof of ownership, but just shows the name ...

Re: Farang buying a house with a Thai lady
I don't understand that at all. Are you saying instead of putting it in your future wife's name you put it in the name of another member of her family ? Sounds very secure......................... :tsk: Don't you think he means his own family, as he's talking about maybe getting ripped off in futur...

Re: Farang buying a house with a Thai lady
The best thing if you plan to get married, is to put the house in the name of a family member before marriage. Thus you live as a guest and in case of a split up, you don't get ripped off. I don't understand that at all. Are you saying instead of putting it in your future wife's name you put it in ...

Re: HomePro / Thai Watsadu
Coming from the Netherlands I was shocked (pleasantly) that because I spent over (not sure what the amount was, 5000 baht maybe) that I qualified for free delivery. What store did you spend >5,000 that qualified for free delivery to the Netherlands? I think he means to his hotel, or other Thai dest...

Re: Blacks targeted in Bangkok street raid
No agenda, I'm just reposting an article to generate a discussion. Sorry for sounding accussatory, I get my feathers ruffled whenever the race card gets played. Not meaning to insult you in any way, but it's a fact that many people's feathers get ruffled as soon as race is brought up in any discuss...

Re: Blacks targeted in Bangkok street raid
See a problem, fix a problem. TIT. In France for so long it's been scary to walk under the Eiffel Tower due to aggressive (semi-threatening) behaviour of the hordes (no exaggeration) of exclusively African trinket sellers, who run away when the police arrive.
