Re: TV series worth watching/downloading

Just finished watching Bodkin on Netflix. Well worth a watch, I'd say. Set in West Cork in Ireland, it's a darkly comedic thriller that follows an Irish journalist, an English researcher and an American podcaster who set out to investigate the mystery surrounding the disappearance of three strangers...

Re: 30฿ Healthcare - National Registration

Wonder why only 2 fixed dates for registration at Hua Hin, but any normal working day at Takiab. We had missed this announcement and so missed these two dates but the next time we went to HHH (at the beginning of June) they were making announcements about this over the PA system and my wife was abl...

Re: Euros 2024

This could put a dent in France's performance going forward. Mbappe suffers broken nose during France win https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/ckdd00r8vv9o Apparently not - they've said they'll give him one of these protective face masks to wear, like Josko Gvardiol in the last World Cup. Fr...

Re: Euros 2024

I watched my first game last night, and was delighted to see the free to air Thai channels were working via AIS. So apologies to True. The cherry on top was commentary was in English. I will watch tonight's England game on Thai free to air. The only downside to Thai free to air was the annoying Aer...

Re: Euros 2024

Yes, but don't you remember the last 2 major tournaments - non-True subscribers sat down to watch the footie, and a big green screen appeared telling the world that True had nobbled other providers from showing the games? e.g. my main provider is AIS. If I tried to access even free to view channels...

And of course, if you have a VPN, all the games are available on BBC or ITV.

Re: Euros 2024

Further..I did see a short piece about TRUE showing games I think on 603 and 604? I'll post more if I see again. OMG I hope not. For sure they will take out injunctions against other broadcasters showing the games again. Fingers crossed, but it doesn't appear that way just at the moment. According ...

Re: Pae Mai transport/parking

I'm interested because I've often driven past the Pae Mai Tuesday market and noticed how busy it seems to be, but I've never stopped to look around.

Is there anything in particular that you can get there, that you can't find elsewhere, or that is significantly cheaper, for example?

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

It's probably worth noting though, that Teslas with the autopilot feature are not fully self-driving (despite what the name suggests) and the driver is still supposed to stay in control of the car at all times. In all of those fatal Tesla crashes, it was determined that, "foreseeable driver mis...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

I’m sure it’s going to take a lot of testing to convince the majority - regrettably it will probably take a serious crash/fatality to convince them it was wise to be cautious!! There have already been multiple serious crashes and fatalities involving automated or semi-automated cars, unfortunately....

Re: Hua Hin hospital special medical clinic

As for private facilities, my son was recently in the VIP Area following his leg operation. That accommodation and nursing care knocked spots off anything the likes of BH has to offer at a fraction of the cost. It was really special. Of course, it is a public hospital with massive turnover of patie...

LOL, it's where it's always been. Only difference is you can't use the comfy sofas any longer. BB, do your know what's the deal with the SMC these days? I've gone up to the 5th floor twice now in recent weeks and each time they're sent me straight down to the after hours clinic next to the emergenc...
