Re: Pet Show, Market Village

We had to put our little Pup down this afternoon. IF You bought a dog from JACKKY FARM at MARKET VILLAGE in the last 2 weeks BE VERY CAREFUL. I am not sure if our dog was the host or just a carrier of Canine Distemper Virus. As frustrated as I am with the Breeder I am now more concerned about other ...

Re: Pet Show, Market Village

My wife found a dog she fell in love with at Market Village. SO we brought him home and he was 2 days away from needing another vaccination. I went and got him this vaccination and within 48 hours he developed symptoms of CANINE DISTEMPER. (Canine distemper is a virus that affects a dog’s respirator...

Maps of Hua Hin area?

I am wondering if there is a place I can purchase a MAP that shows all the different sub areas of Hua Hin. Like Pak Nam Pran, Sam Roi Yod, Khao Kalok, Khao Takiab, etc etc. People tell me they live in such and such and it means nothing to me as there seems to be so many sub areas. SO is there a plac...

Questions on land chanote

Hi All I am really trying to wrap my head around things here but when I ask most people I get no real answers. Basically that is the way it is. Stupid me for wanting to understand the system! I understand having a CHANOTE is the highest form of land ownership. What I do not understand is why some pr...

Marketing Printer

Hello all

Looking to find a competent marketing printer that can do double sided post cards in full color. I am ok with the printer will be in Bangkok.

I am finding that most of the printers here actually charge way more then I was charged in Farangland.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Setting a property sales price

The ability to own a piece of land means a great deal. If you are only leasing the land and do not own it then why not just buy new? A new lease? A new modern house, new designs new features etc. You are 100% right that if Non-Nationals could own land the prices would rise way beyond what they are n...

Re: Setting a property sales price

QUOTE: It all just boils down to money and greed in Real Estate in my opinion. This is painting everyone with the same brush and is completely unfair and false. I have honestly sold houses for ZERO commission for clients because they didn't have enough equity. I would tell house flippers if I was ma...

Re: Buying big size shoes in Hua Hin

I had great success today at MEGA BANGNA. They had several shops and each one I did go into said right away as soon as I went in "we have big size" So if you don't mind a little drive into Bangkok there are lots of choices there.

Re: Setting a property sales price

I feel the need to offer my 2 cents. Real Estate is very different here then most of our home countries. I am about to join a firm here and I have 20 years LICENSED EXPERIENCE back home. You are right there is no experience necessary to become a "Consultant" here. There is no Real Estate B...

Re: Bringing household goods into Thailand

We shipped the contents of our house from Canada to Thailand. We paid an agency about 48000-60,000B I think it was to handle it all. This included all the BS and pay offs that I am sure occurred. We had no real issues except and I can only guess at this but they opened the container and what fell ou...

Re: Coin-op laundry?

Really interested to hear you are looking for a dryer. My wife and I have looked at opening a laundry and adding one dryer was a priority. The only issue here is the rent and costs vs the amount we can charge from these machines and how much use they would get. I think as you see at most places laun...
