I am just back from Hua Hin. As far as i have noticed there are only 2 bars at the moment where you can't smoke, both of them airconditioned.

There are many places in Hua Hin to hire one. There are a few down the road to the beach next to Sofitel.

Also one of HHAD has a sponsor where you can rent a motorbike. Prices look reasonable and they have automatics. Look at the folowing link ;

I think first you will have to take the bus to Bangkok which could be very interesting.

From Bangkok the busses go frequently to Hua Hin.

From where and how? Haven't got a clue, my thai girlfriend knows so why should i know.

Just finished watching the race. Not really exciting.
Biggest surprise was the enige failure for MS. Now it seems the crying baby from Spain is going to be worldchampion.

Scotland-France 1-0, i like that one.

Bulgaria-Holland 1-1 at the moment with 30 minutes to go on a small and very wet field.

Last june i was in Hua Hin. Most of the time i went to the Starfish. Place is okay and i know the staff and the owner. Also sometimes to the Celtic for a quick beer. For good music i went to the Gene Pub but i understand the band has left the building so now there is only expensive beer and an airco...

Reached 6 on my fourth attempt but it's still early in this part of the world.
I'll have a few smokes and some coffee before i try again, maybe it gets better.
