Thinking of driving south from hua hin to get the ferry from surat thani to ko samui
Has any body done this trip and can offer any advice.
Also can anybody offer a nice halfway spot to stop off at to break the journey up.

which side of the soi is this development on say if you are walking away from the temple end up towards the hilton.
is the som tam place still there behind the corrogated iron sheets opposite the soi where the ladyboy caberet used to be ??

the eco cruise thro the mangroves looks great will look forward to that once we get over there

we are over in hua hin for february and would like to increase my species count from thailand can anybody give advice as to good bird watching locations in the hua hin area. have been to sam roi yot , pa la u falls and keang kachan are there any other areas worth a visit. are there any local guides ...

are they any large scale maps available to cover from say north of cha am down to below sam roi yot area. have only been able to find the usua tourist ones that dont show enough detail.

i am hoping to visit the national park during my stay in january next year.
can any body recommend some place to stay that is close to the park, or preferably near to the best bird watching areas in the park.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section but not sure as to where to post the question.
Has anybody any advice on which service provider offers the best deals on mobile to mobile calls.
Used the HAPPY sim card in thailand but will not work in the uk.

no wifi when i stayed there in november but could be a recent addition.
the 2 largest rooms are about 5m x 6m with separate bathroom about 1.5m x 3.5m i would say, hope this helps.

there is safe parking for motorbikes and scooters in the small courtyard infont of the room blocks,
its set back and out of site from the road, but its not big enough to drive a car up there.

A wise man once told me."NEVER EVER" eat anything left on the bar or on the tables. the reason why, people go to the toilet ,dont wash their hands and come back and stick em straight it to the freebies...
