Re: Boundary/Neighbour Dispute

Thank you all very much for taking the time to respond. My wife's initial reaction was to say "Let's sell" but the reality is that the impact of this construction on our property is so extreme that I just don't think we could sell it at all - certainly not to a discerning foreigner anyway....

Boundary/Neighbour Dispute

It's been a few years since I posted on this forum as I have spent less and less time in HH but we've managed to maintain the bungalow we've owned in HH for the past 16 years & we still love it. We came back as a family at Christmas and kind of fell back in love with the place. We were certainly...

Re: [ADVERTORIAL] The Wado Karate Federation

Good luck for your Sandan grading next week John. Tom took his Nidan last week and passed. He's changed a lot since he last trained with you! Again, all the best for next week.

Re: [ADVERTORIAL] The Wado Karate Federation

Hello John - it's been almost 3 years since my boy Tom & I came to train with you whilst on holiday & we're back again in December but I can see that you won't be running any classes by then due to Christmas, which I understand. However, if you will still be in Hua Hin during December, let m...

Re: Jack Russell Terriers

Ha - cute. You can't see it in the photo but our dog has some colour ticking like that but in tan.

I'm assuming that they deal with the heat just like any other dog over there?

Re: Jack Russell Terriers

Mods please delete my post above - picture link now resized. Beware of Jack Russell's from Bangkok. In my search I have found 3 breaders/dealers in Bangkok who seem to have been breeding from the same two lines for the past 4 years that I have known and charge about 9,000 - 15,000 depending on the m...

Jack Russell Terriers

Does anyone know if these dogs can be obtained in Thailand - especially in the Bangkok-Hua Hin area? I don't mean the Parson Russell KC breed but the JRT working type or other small, predominantly white and smooth haired terrier. The dog will be a pet and ratter for my niece and will live with a cou...

Re: [ADVERTORIAL] The Wado Karate Federation

Hi John - just to let you know that yesterday Tom passed his Shodan under Andy Sherry 9th Dan KUGB & Frank Brennan 7th Dan KUGB. I told him you will not have to show him any mercy next time he visits! :)

Thanks Takiap and best of luck for your young one - it starts getting really fun after about a year!

Re: [ADVERTORIAL] The Wado Karate Federation

So, it’s a big well done to Tom. It’s a fantastic achievement at such a young a age. The photographer deserves some praise for capturing that Mawashi–Geri Jodan shot (Takiap beware – that will be part of Kaylene’s next grading  ). An excellent action shot. It's probably not immediately app...

Re: [ADVERTORIAL] The Wado Karate Federation

Sorry Jaime, didn't know you're here, but John is very close. Just wanted to say Hello old bugger!! :D Hi ole - sorry we didn't stop by last time but virtually the whole trip was filled with organisation of the our eldest son's ordination as a monk. I'll try and post some photos of that one day if ...

Re: [ADVERTORIAL] The Wado Karate Federation

Firstly, apologies to Sensei John for not getting in touch sooner – life is busy and all that. Back at the end of March 2013, me and my two boys, Tom and Pi did a little training with John whilst on holiday in Hua Hin as Tom was preparing for an imminent black belt grading. Although we are all Shoto...

Re: The Rugby Thread

One thing we hopefully can all agree on is that this award for Halfpenny is fully deserved: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/21902209

Surely a banker for the Lions tour and sure to play some part in the tests.
