Re: New Hua Hin Songthaew Service
as i wrote before ( => https://huahinforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=22126&start=30#p433673 ) this week, i saw the white baht-bus (with the red bonnet) running soi94 into petchcasem Rd one time, as most of the time completely empty, in my opinion because of the completely wrong marketing and w...

Re: Riviera Thailand Project
"riviera project" is a good sounding name for ambitious goals,
but just have a look at the hua hin pier, this does not look like riviera ?
the started construction sites of halls without function, and rubble and partially demolished buildings

Re: Demolition of restaurants + shops in Poon Suk road
it is very empty now in PoonSuk rd. after removal of many very good restaurants along the temple wall there is only a good parking place for motobikes, now, compared with some years before, it seems the top eating places are moving to Soi88 and Soi94, there are several big food-courts along the rail...

Re: Agoda hotel descriptions warning
Agoda and booking.com are actually the same company. Usually they have also the same prices. i know, that several travel-companys are collected in the same owner-holding company, so i tried to compare search and travel-info from different owned companys, and some web-sites delivers some value addit...

Re: Agoda hotel descriptions warning
We're currently on a little sojourn through southern Thailand. Have stayed at a lot of different places, many of which I booked through Agoda. . . . . . . . . You will also often get a better rate at some places if a Thai calls up to enquire, this way it is negotiable and the resort does not have t...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand
When you consider the vast number of burgers McD or BK must sell in Hua Hin alone, it's amazing to think that a few visitors knocking back bellyful's of alcohol, dodgy ice, full brekkies, snacks et al, can all authoritatively state it was the burger that did it! what a lot of people don't truly kno...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand
I almost expected your answer, but I am sure that the cause was the McD food, because during holiday (in tropical aereas) i eat only twice a day, breakfast and diner, and the breakfast i got every day in the same restaurant / same hotel, so the problem only could be caused by the food in the evenin...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand
if I remember correctly, the problem started right after the meal, with nausea, malaise, and finally I vomited everything back and follows with diarrhea one/two days. If the nausea started right after the mean then it almost certainly wasn't the burger that caused it. It takes time for the body to ...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand
maybe it was caused by the salad in between the meat ? i do not really know, but I was really bad after the meal at McD. How long after the meal at McD? if I remember correctly, the problem started right after the meal, with nausea, malaise, and finally I vomited everything back and follows with di...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand
Burgers are a surprise to me too. Steak tartare/‘filet Américain’ are firm favourites and much more common than raw chicken. Burgers are generally cooked through and provided they reach over 45°C for a minute or so should be devoid of any bugs that would bother us. Could it be a poorly-washed lettu...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand
When I first visited Thailand I would consider it an achievement if I went fourteen days without going down with some form of sickness. This year however, I went eleven weeks without getting ill once, and a trip of similar length last year was equally successful. So I thought I'd share my personal ...

Is this the same restaurant that was located in Smorprong? no, formerly this restaurant "Treffpunkt" was located at the road to the beach (between Hilton and Centara) https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@12.5689642,99.9603684,3a,54.8y,1.07h,86.83t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sVF2o3BSgpgwHCTvqexLG9g!2e0!...
