Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand

When you consider the vast number of burgers McD or BK must sell in Hua Hin alone, it's amazing to think that a few visitors knocking back bellyful's of alcohol, dodgy ice, full brekkies, snacks et al, can all authoritatively state it was the burger that did it! what a lot of people don't truly kno...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand

I almost expected your answer, but I am sure that the cause was the McD food, because during holiday (in tropical aereas) i eat only twice a day, breakfast and diner, and the breakfast i got every day in the same restaurant / same hotel, so the problem only could be caused by the food in the evenin...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand

if I remember correctly, the problem started right after the meal, with nausea, malaise, and finally I vomited everything back and follows with diarrhea one/two days. If the nausea started right after the mean then it almost certainly wasn't the burger that caused it. It takes time for the body to ...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand

How long after the meal at McD? if I remember correctly, the problem started right after the meal, with nausea, malaise, and finally I vomited everything back and follows with di...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand

Burgers are a surprise to me too. Steak tartare/‘filet Américain’ are firm favourites and much more common than raw chicken. Burgers are generally cooked through and provided they reach over 45°C for a minute or so should be devoid of any bugs that would bother us. Could it be a poorly-washed lettu...

Re: How not to get sick on holiday in Thailand

When I first visited Thailand I would consider it an achievement if I went fourteen days without going down with some form of sickness. This year however, I went eleven weeks without getting ill once, and a trip of similar length last year was equally successful. So I thought I'd share my personal ...

Cha Am - north

more comfortable massage shops for oil-massage,

with open-minded good-looking girls

any recommendations?

Anyone know when extras massages open? Early or later than legit places? ;-) starting in the morning if you want to some time ago, i wanted to have a look at soi80, so after breakfast at about 11 am, i startet walking into soi80 from petchkasem Rd, some of the first bars/shops on the left side, the...

Re: Very quiet in Hua Hin

Places bull dosed down restraunts gone. Bars up for sale what’s happening such a shame Did you mean the area where the piers are? The shops were closed down some time ago, seems to be a decision made by the folk with guns that run the Country, claiming they are encroaching on public land. Make of t...

Some time ago the restaurant was called "KOTI Restaurant" i do not actually know, if they changed the name . . . when the restaurant is open and the blinds are open, you rarely can see the name. http://plimpim.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/02-koti-restaurant-hua-hinl-2016-11-24.jpg http://plimpim.c...

Re: Thailand Tourist Friendly?

Thailand touts itself as a tourist destination, yet makes rules and laws that are about as Tourist Unfriendly as possible. In the past year we have seen these rules: No advertising or chatting online about alcohol. No drinking on beaches. No riding in the back of pickups. No smoking on beaches or i...
