Just a few stops from the city's center, you see old rail stock -- engines and cars -- scattered through what looks almost like a...

"This is the shocking moment a tourist is brazenly kidnapped inside an airport moments after stepping off a flight. Jincai Chen, 39, landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 6 in the evening after a short-haul flight from Hong Kong. But shortly after leaving the plane, she wa...

Lots of them; moving out on my own (in Memphis) at 19, moving to Saudi Arabia at 30, returning to live in California at 35 after 3 months tramping across Europe, scuba diving my way across the South Pacific for 14 weeks to celebrate my 40th birthday, taking on a Thai family at 46, moving to Florida ...

Wow, strange law. That would never happen in the U.S. If someone breaks into your home, you are well within your rights to blow their head off. Outside is another matter, you have to be in fear of your life, but inside the house... boom! That's why burglars here are usually very careful to make sur...

Re: Man drowns in Kao Takiep after scattering ashes.
Seems like that's a dangerous place for spreading ashes. Two good friends were killed by a train at a Takiab crossing when I lived there. They were going to spread one of their husbands ashes in the sea off Takiab. The pickup was totally destroyed, both women killed but the urn with the ashes surviv...
