You are quite right in that you must have a re-entry visa before you leave and there is nothing about reporting to HH immigration within 24 hours` of returning.

The shipping cost is NIL because it is included with all my other effects in one container.

Importing Personal effects

You mention that a Non Imm visa is needed to import, but I thought the system was to use this visa to obtain a Retirement Visa and only when that visa was approved you could import ( within 6 months).

Perhaps I may be confusing visas
